The Pegasus Coffee House and The Harbour
Public House are at the Harbour Marina on Bainbridge Island's
Eagle Harbor. They are using EUTOPOS Huckleberries for
scones and huckleberry cheesecakes. We are happy to have
them on board because they are very excited to have our
huckleberries.
It's relationships like this that make it fun
and satisfying!

I drained about 50,000 gallons from the upper
spring pond to keep it from overflowing and the lower lake can
use it, since the dry summer left it pretty low. The pond
only went down about 15 inches. The upper pond has about
500,000 gallons of fresh spring water at all times of the year.
...and the huckleberries are gaining their second wind!
WOW!!

OUR FIRST DAY AT THE MARKET!!!
We had a great first day at the
Port Townsend Farmers
Market. There was a lot of excitement about our
huckleberries. As newbies, our booth placement was very poor,
but the people who passed our booth were buying. We saw
many friends and introduced huckleberries to the uninitiated.
We will be there every Saturday through mid November. #1
Question... where the heck is Coyle, WA?
August 26, 2009
It's illegal to harvest huckleberries with a
rake or any other mechanical device in Washington. Below
are some pictures that show why... the berries ripen on a
rotation and if you use a rake, the green berries and many
leaves get torn off at the same time. It takes a delicate touch
to remove only the ripe berries with your fingers.
